The uptown area of Syracuse has changed very little over the years, resulting in a distinguished Main Street where the roads are lined by a variety of businesses. Main Street Syracuse is home to many locally-owned eateries, retail and art stores and a movie theater. Although the summer months remain the busiest season of the year with added buzz and excitement of seasonal homeowners and guests, full time residents in Syracuse enjoy a year-round, tightly-knit community of warmth, compassion and fun. Non-summer activities are highlighted by our very competitive high school football, basketball and other sports. Lakeside Park is a focal point for community activities, including the monthly Music In The Park series featuring local entertainers.

Business in Syracuse continues to diversify, as the town is home to the fourth largest boat builder, Rinker Boats, rubber and plastic production, printing, research and development engines, metal fabrication. We are also very proud of our traditional agricultural industry in the area. Home to one of the best school systems in the state, the variety of educational opportunities can be tailored to the individual needs and wishes of students and continues to provide a solid workforce for area businesses.
